Groundhog Day
- Phil Connors: Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn’t one today.
- *Driving down the railroad tracks toward an approaching train*
Phil: I’m betting he’s going to swerve first. - First D.J.: Rise and shine, campers, and don’t forget your booties ’cause it’s cooooold out there today.
Second D.J.: It’s cold out there every day. What is this, Miami Beach?
First D.J.: Not hardly. - Phil: You want a prediction about the weather, you’re asking the wrong Phil. I’ll give you a winter prediction: It’s gonna be cold, it’s gonna be grey, and it’s gonna last you for the rest of your life.
- Phil Connors: There is no way this winter is EVER going to end as long as that groundhog keeps seeing his shadow. I don’t see any way out of it. He’s got to be stopped. And I have to stop him.
- Rita: I like to see a man of advancing years throwing caution to the wind. It’s inspiring in a way.
Phil: My years are not advancing as fast as you might think.
The Wonder Years
“Growing up is never easy. You hold on to things that were. You wonder what’s to come. But that night, I think we knew it was time to let go of what had been, and look ahead to what would be. Other days. New days. Days to come. The thing is, we didn’t have to hate each other for getting older. We just had to forgive ourselves… for growing up.”
